Aussie band Malcura refuse to confine their selves to a singular genre in their sequel album ‘Malcura II’. Being released November 27th, the Melbourne-based ‘Heavy Flamenco’ band has been testing musical boundaries in this gripping journey.

After the release of their debut self-titled album in 2016, Malcura caught the attention of many across the globe, selling over 3000 copies and being nominated for “Best Global/Reggae Album” at The Age Music Victoria Awards.

‘Malcura II’ is even more experimental, taking the listener through an other-worldly adventure in an eclectic fusion of gypsy jazz, surf-rock and even throwing in some melodic death metal inspired guitar riffs. Their distinctive sound has entranced the Australian public with music made for the soul.

Introducing us to Captain Snus – the astronaut who is making his way through a black hole all the way to a wondrous new planet – this album captures the psychedelic, stimulant sound needed to transport the listeners to that very place.

Well known for their notable gig history and festival appearances, Malcura are working hard to make their mark in a way like no other.
